Honestly mate, save yourself the hassle and just buy a full system. I seen an almost new Arrows full system on ebay a few months ago selling for £900 buy it now. It will also perform far better than a chopped system.

You can get a full system cheaper than that. I've seen full Akky stainless systems go for £600...

I like the look of the side exit pipe, that's why im going for the Austin racing one, im not to worried about gaining more BHP at the moment, its already got all the ponies I need lol ;-)

But you could also cause flat spots and a drop in power. Exhaust systems are more than just a pipe to expel gases.

You need to remove the exhaust to make it easier, then cut the pipes before the cat leaving enough space to reattach the cat using the clamps provided.
So basically looking at the link pipes you need to cut about half the length, this will enable you to attach the clamp on your new Y pipe and also to re-attach the cat.
You also need to dig out the cat because it is actually in the pipes and not in the 'box'.
(realistically you need to be thinking if you will go to the bother of re-attaching the cat or just buying a used sytem from fleabay when you come to sell it)
I believe this exhaust does not cause any loss of power or flat spots but I am talking from second hand experience so don't take my word for it. You can do a before and after dyno if you want to check that out.
I did have one of these systems but I never fitted it because by all accounts it is 'LOUD' and I intend to use my bike on track a lot now.

Thanks for your replies lads, I just got stuck into it and did it this afternoon :)
