Carbon fibre seat cowl

Does anyone know if I can use the mounting bracket and lock out of my OEM seat cowl to fit into a fullsix Carbon one.
It says on the conquest carbon website you need to use the parts from the pillion seat not the plastic mono seat.

Are they different?

As my Bike came with the cowl I've never seen a pillion seat so I dont know.

Oh that will be why I had to shim the cowl metal piece I reused... didn't know it needed the seat pieces.
