Completed the 6k service this afternoon. Now seeking any GS911 owner around West London to clear Service alert, happy to pay.

Some quick comments on the service:
  • Ye Gods, the oil looked ropey. Must do more frequent oil changes following track days
  • Oil filter was way too tight, a favourite of BMW dealers I read
  • Air filter was a piece of cake. Stuck to Mahle - can't imagine noticing any difference with K&N,etc
  • Opted to use Putoline for no other reason than I like Putoline
  • Surprised how easy removing the fairing lower was

I change my oil every four trackdays for precisely this reason. It isn't cheap but it looks after the engine.
 
google the GS Shop or ring 0208 546 2600 he can do the reset for you. I was going to get mine done last year but I ended up storing it away for winter and getting it done at BMW a few months ago but I spoke with GS shop and he can do it ]
 
Neil at the GS Shop outside Kingston, Surrey was friendly and fast in clearing Service code and also fixing exhaust flap code. Not an S1000RR specialist mind. ?20.
