Took my bike to Bowker today to remove the Service Message on my bike as they had forgot to do it at Kawasaki Autorama (where i bought it from in January). And i cannot speak highly enough of the service i received, when the bike went in the garage they do a full check on it as standard with every bike that goes in for any work minor or major & they found that the rear sprocket bush had ridiculous amounts of play in it (apparently a common fault on the STHOU) Which i was a bit annoyed about as i have only just bought it and it should really of been checked before it was sold. When i say it had a bit of play i mean my rear sprocket was about on its last legs and was rattling like a b*tch. Anyway i phoned Kawasaki and they said put it through a full check at Bowker and we will foot the bill for what ever it needs which i was happy about, also Bowker said they will deliver my bike back to my doorstep on Friday free as well as he is my local dealer so i will be using him a lot in the future. Overall a good day and i'll now have the piece of mind that the bike is all mint when i get it back. Only downside of the day was i pierced the seat as i tightened it down to tight in the van with the straps, so i'll be on the lookout for a new seat if anyone has one lying about :).

It's good to read you had good service from Bowker. I bought two bikes from them in 2015 when they were still southport superbikes. The service was very good back then too.

Yeh that;s the first time dealing with them & its reassuring knowing how good they are to someone who isnt a well known customer.

I did yep and i know what your thinking... Why didn't i ride it on this lovely sunny day and the answer is because my leathers and new helmet only just arrived in the post today so didn't fancy riding down without some decent kit on.

I wouldn't touch bowker, fobbed me off on warranty work. Tried selling on a 1 owner bike that was really 2 owners
