Years (many) ago took a jag in part-ex which had done a million miles and speedo was erratic. Hmmm, buy a new clock and kill 2 birds etc. Plugged the new one in and it immediately spun back up to the million miles lol !

Sorry not so active on the forum until I have a new bike, It's just depressing seeing all of you ride around while I'm stuck in my Polo.

I checked the MOT on the website as the dealer failed to provide me with a proper MOT certificate and failed to tell me.

Agree with that but I wonder why the dealer didn't do that initially

Yes, that's true. I would expect a copy of the MOT certificate if buying from a dealer.
