The soles on my Motorrad boots decided to detatch the other day. The boots (and the soles) are still OK but the glue seems to have persished.

Does anyone have recommendations for boot repairers or experience of DIY re-glueing (I guess you need to be able to apply pressure while glue cures).

Cheers!

i just used a local cobbler to resole my daytonas. ?30-v-?200 i think from daytona !!

Your local Timpsons ought to be able to help...

The local one has just repaired my Sidi boots, with a much thicker front sole. Saved over ?300 I was planning to spend on some Daytona boots.

I got some quotes from 'specialist' m/c gear repairers, around ?80 just to restick existing soles. I have restuck the soles myself with proper shoe glue and clamps. Will let you know how long they last.

I've used Gorilla glue, stuffed padding inside the boot and wrapped duct tape around it until the glue dried.

I bought a new pair of outers for my Daytonas a couple of years ago, picked them up as they were on a special discount, but it was too good to ignore.
