You bought it in 2015? I assume it's a 2009-11 bike as it's got the original large tail unit...unless the bodywork is not original.

Alex, surefire way to age S1000RR, check the swing arm pivot on the side of the frame, Mark 1 have diamond shape, 2012 onward have an oval, can't be altered and is easy to spot.
