'Martin Special Edition', is that a colour blind racing team north of the border or the name of the apprentice in the bike shop who's been let loose with a spray gun? It looks terrible, why would your mate want to pay over 8 grand for that? You're right he needs to look elsewhere, its been seriously devalued with that paint job - might be worth a look as a 6 grand track bike but that's about it....

lol was good mate small world right enough! still never managed to get a pair of shorts, the only ones a liked were 15 quid in tk f@#k that! lol , its the same one stu, a remembered you posting it, wouldn't forget something that awful in a hurry lol , looks like your link was a private seller, it now looks like it's ended up in a bike shop in renfrew.

well it looks like their could be more to this "martin special" apparently its a German BMW dealer who paints an sells one off bmws, now I find it unlikely that this bike was painted in Germany, it must be some kind of copy , I am going to nip over and try and see it this week.

If you go back to original ad that Stu posted up where it bizarrely says 'decided in June to get it respected in May' I think it can be concluded that it's either a very tasteless Martin special that someones just ridden over from Central Europe or its copy of a very tasteless Martin special owned by someone who has an odd grasp of English. Either way I still wouldn't touch it with a barge pole and especially not at the price the dealership wants :disgust:

That Orange and Black RR

I cant find that post from the other day mods sorry.....

So today en-route to pick up a wee compressor for my garage my phone went....it was my mate Tam... he was in looking at that Orange and Black RR in MCS in Paisley...says its a looker and is very interested in it..kind of thought it didnt show its best side on film. Theres some tasty upgrades on it too....watch this space !
