purchased my bike about a year ago and cannot find any info on how long the breakdown cover lasts for? anyone know? thanks.andy.

BMW should let you know when it is about to expire.
I extended mine and you can keep extending it up to 80,000 miles (about ?30 a month) - very good selling point.
If you sell the bike the next owner can opt to keep it going as long as he/she informs BMW within 10 days of buying it.
The warranty is worldwide and you can also include breakdown cover for a few more quid.
It covers all main components including switchgear etc. Well worth it IMO especially with high mileage bike.

hello sockets.i'm not referring to the bikes warranty but the breakdown cover i.e. aa,rac, greenflag etc....i got a credit card with info printed on it from bmw about who to phone etc.. but in the expiry bit it's blank hence my question.
