Hi all

Just need some advice I'm trading in
my 2012 S1000rr with the dealer for a hp4
mine has full Akro exhaust full service history x3
5200 miles a set of new tyres only 100 miles on them
and never seen the rain so mint and 11 months tax and first
Mot next June and they offered me 8500 I feel this is
a piss take what does every one else think

I'd try squeeze more out of them oft get it up private or if you go dealer route remove exhaust

Try selling it private, you should get 10K. Or go to another dealer, might be worth calling every dealer in the land. Im sure one will easily beat that deal.

No buddy the dealer in peterbourgh
As for the exhaust I would remove it but the hassle it
took to fit let alone trying to fit those exhaust cables back again

9 tops i reckon will be the going rate unfortunately
They know you want the HP4 and you'll have to pay for the privelege.

I bought, what amounts to the bike you're selling, in April. I paid 10.5k from a BMW Dealer. Just as a guide for their resale value at the dealership.

Got offered 9k for mine today 13 plate 3000 miles stick ya HP4 up your arse dealer.

Think dealers look to make 1.5 to 2k on a trade-in so the figures quoted above seem normal to me.

Not acceptable to us as punters, but normal practice imho.

Well to be fair the bike is on it's way but not singed anything
so looks like I'm off for a chat with them or they can stick it

std practice.....they wont budge on it as they know if you dont take the HP4 someone else will.

So now a hp4 owner just waiting on the DPI check then pick it up

8500 for mine
300 of the new bike
Free pair of rear sets worth 566 as mine is not the carbon edition
Free removal fitting of the hp race shift
