ABS optional extra??

Hey up guys n gals,Was reading an article today and it mentioned that the ABS system can be purchased separately to the bike, how true is this?I have the 2011 non sport which doesnt come with the ABS or DTC, the article said it can be purchased for around ?800 as an addition.Thanks in advance

I'd be asking a bmw dealership that question. ABS rings and ABS sensors amd abs box are easy enough but the ecu will need updating or possibly changing for the TC / ABS to work?

As he said above, get on the blower to BMW

No, that's corner abs which is an upgrade to standard abs.

Indeed that's ABS Pro - costs ?800 to upgrade a bike with ABS already!

And it only works in rain & sport mode...
