DDC Setup
Information regarding setting front and rear preload can be found on p67 of the Owner's Manual and DDC calibration on p77. Setting preload correctly allows you to get the very best from the suspension. You need to find what works for you and not rely on settings recommended by others as there are just far to many variables (track, riding style, surface, spring weights etc etc etc...) affecting setup that will differ greatly between riders. The key to understanding suspension setup is being able to identify what the bike is doing beneath you and more importantly what it is preventing you from doing. This will continually change the faster you go as you will likely encounter different issues as the suspension will react differently as the pace increases. The best advice is simply to get out and experiment and if you are struggling with the concepts of compression, rebound and preload then you are best off seeking professional advice when track side. They will be able to help interpret your feedback and guide you through the setup process to reach a setting which works for you and from which to build upon.
