2nd day at alcarras completed

This is my 2 nd trip with pacedayz and its soooo relaxed. Most people here are racers and having a post season jolly but they made the 18 of us feel most welcome. Laverty, hickman and burrell are very helpfully and very approachable .
The track is a lot more physical than i remember from 2 yrs ago and after day 1 i felt as though i carried my bike around the circuit. Day 1 i was proper broken.
2 yrs ago i had a best time of 2.07 but didnt realise my suspension was shot. Kyle (krg) serviced it at x mas and on the first day this time out i took 8 secs of that time and was into the 1.58s. Its still not quick but its not the slowest . Bike feels great and im really enjoying the feeling especially from the front. Hooefully will bring it home in 1 piece and maybe a sec or 2 faster. Great track and great company

Not open pit lane mate. Top group is like bsb riders . 2nd group are normal fast and clubman racers and we have a group of 24 of "mixed ability".

Phew! Wouldn't want to be on one of those trips and show the racers up! LOL
8 seconds is a hell of a lot of time. Nice work - enjoy it!

Well that was that. Better last day than 2nd day. Took 0.5 secs off in the morning and 0.3 in the afternoon but really had to work ha4d for it. Brilliant circuit but you really have to work so hard. Its cadwell on steroids. Loads of grip but can bite hard (our mates 4c8 is totalled). Michael laverty is a total gent but hicky in my mind is a ledg. What that guy was doing with a bike was obscene. But such a nice guy to boot. Some great memories and bike and body back in one piece

Forget times, i felt as though i rode better than i have ever done. Funny thing is , i felt slower and more controlled yet went faster! Go figure
