2015 RR engine light on, limp mode, throttle hardly works, won?t Rev

Hi guys as above, started the bike up this morning and drove down the road and it went into limp mode with no power, I turned the key off and then back on and the light cleared.
when I went to accelerate the car went back into limp mode and the engine light came back on.
now the light is on permanently.
the Bike won?t rev, if I wind the throttle back it takes like 5 seconds to slowly accelerate up to 2k revs and no more.

one other thing to note is the bike seems to hunt a bit on idle even before the problems.
the bike has just had a service from Bmw.

is there a way to reset the ecu without a fault code reader?
any help will be much appreciated.

Straight back to dealer, something isn?t right, resetting the eml is imo asking for trouble if it?s in limp mode.

Wonder if its the generator not supplying the juice.

Get it to a dealer/trusted mechanic

In 2017 I took my old 2016 gen 3 bike in for a service in a particular official BMW Motorrad dealer/service specialist centre.
After they attempted software or firmware updates to the bike all the electronic components failed to work and they corrupted the software.
I had to leave it with them for repairs which took about a week to do.
I was in their dealership for about 4 hours.
At least they lent me a loan bike to go touring with [emoji16].

I wouldn't dismiss that it may be something they have done during the service.

Check battery terminals, make sure they're tight. Causes all sorts of random weirdness on s1ks...

sounds very much like the TPS on the bodies,or twist grip sensor,happens quite a bit.i get it when the bike has been stood (even though on the optimate)for a while,usually a good run after a reset with the gs911 and soesn't do it again.

As above also regarding battery,they are very sensitive to voltage drops

Check Genny output with a multimeter as part of this

Thanks for the info guys appreciate it, had a Bmw technician out said it were the throttle sensors playing up and will be fixing it tomorrow with a bit of luck ??

like i said,happens a lot,usually when been stood for a while.

and i'm guessing the fix will be a reset and calibration,5 minute job.

He?s ordered a new throttle assembly as it?s under Bmw warranty, guessing he could just probably calibrate it but I?m not sure he knows how to haha
