2015 R&G tail tidy

Hi, can anyone advise when fitting the R&G tail tidy, did they need to chop any of the standard wires at all? I haven't had a good look at it yet. Is there one multiplug that does all of the lights on the rear?

If I can remember, I got a spare wiring loom direct from ocean bmw in plymouth and spliced it in, I will have a look today if I can remember

The only wire you should need to chop and reconnect is the one for the number plate light as the R&G and Evotech tail tidies come with a replacement light assembly, all of the other wires for the indicators and rear light plug in and out

Ok thanks for the feedback guys. Also, will my LED indicators go straight on the tail tidy ok? The BMW LED indicators?

I'm currently in the process of fitting the r&g tail tidy to my 2012. I cut the indicators off and number plate light. Put bullet connectors on number plate light. Was going to solder oem led indicators into existing plug but changed my mind. Purchased the wiring look from BMW yesterday so the indicators will plug and play and will splice the number plate light onto r&g wiring.

Yeah i've just fitted the R&G to mine and the LED indicators just pop in the same way as the stock tail piece I've noticed they can pop out (still attached but at a 45 degree angle) quite easily if knocked, but tbh it was the same on the stock tail :-/

Well that's the TT fitted. See what you mean that the indicators can easily pop out Cavey. Looks like the bike has wings now, indicators stick out a mile. At least she will fly tho haha!
