2015 Clutch lever "feel"

As the S1KRR's transmission seems a little bit lashy (assume given the bikes heritage, there's minimal cush rubbers), I find myself dipping the clutch slightly in traffic when on and off the throttle to smooth things out. I've noticed that when I throttle off, I can feel a little bit of clutch movement/reaction through the lever- is this the slipper clutch? Just feels a little odd and wondered if it's normal.

That's normal, it's the slipper clutch that's giving that pulsing feeling through the clutch lever
