2012 Sprocket sizes

Looking at putting a +2 sprocket on the rear. Anyone done this and will it fit with the standard length chain?
 
Side thought, The speedo is off the ABS ring right, so there's no way to gear the thing to read the right speed, correct? I hate how much it over-reads. It's more than 10% imo.

I assume the only way to fix that would be taller tyres.
 
I fitted a bigger back sprocket and have not noticed any bad affects, the reason I did not go down smaller front was that the chain get a hard time anyway without having to rotate round a smaller area putting links under more stress.

Ran smaller front on my '10 for 3years with no probs, mind you, was cleaned and lubed after every ride
