Can the brake fluid be changed yourself? Or is it a dealer job with the ABS?

Yes you can do it yourself. Motul rbf600 or rbf660.
You can do it yourself but it's faster/easier with someone to help you...do wear gloves, I am sporting a nice red patch on the back of my hand where I got Brake fluid on it and didn't clean it off.
Same a non ABS bike, except have the electrics on.
I use/like Brembo LCF600...

Brake Bleeding
Bleeding the brakes is easy and something you can do yourself. As posted above just make sure that you wear gloves and avoid getting brake fluid on any paintwork. For best results I would recommend vacuum bleeding (using a Mityvac etc) as it?s the quickest, easiest and most effective way of doing it.
