She's in need of some TLC... I'll let you guys know the prognosis. the top end is sounding umm well,, pretty rattly. making good smooth power but i think i might need another cam chain, last one was at 32k. it was hanging off the pulley like a 'wet pair of pants' according to the tech. Have...

Hi all, A little advice please? Having just clocked over 52k on my '64 Gen 2. The only thing really showing it's age is the suspension. (no active stuff on this old girl) ride is getting choppy and when pushing on / exiting bends it feels a little squirmy, but not tyre squirmy (this is GP...

Result of Motorcycle Dyno & ECU flash

Quick one. After the full Akra system and db killer addition. Hill Top flashed the ECU and i've got ... 188 bhp at the rear wheel @ 88 lb'ft happy with that! not bad for 47k engine? maybe that is close to 200+bhp at the crank? the tune only gained me 8bhp at the top end but over 13 lb'ft...

'Solved' the high DB issue with full racing Akrapovic system and shorty can..

.. it's not full factory... more scrapheap challenge. but... it fits... looks ok and brings the system down to 'acceptable' levels ..i.e. you don't ooze blood out of your ears... and the extra bit of back pressure solves 90% of the fluffy throttle response too. still pops and bangs... feels...

    Rear Disk Weirdness

Just a FYI If you let your rear disk get too thin... it confuses the electronics somehow. don't know why. but that was the overview from BMW after i was stranded on the hard shoulder, as every time i rolled off the throttle the bike braked HARD. then capped my revs to 4k. in Race mode. TC...
