    Rider Insurance for Trackdays?

This thread has just reminded me that it would be worth getting this sorted ahead of Jerez in November. Previously used BeMoto, but they want over £60 for 4 days; went for holidaysafe at a more reasonable £18 for the same if not better level of cover...

    Stahlbus Oil Drain Valve

I have one on my s1000, and also my race bike. Brilliant bits of kit (remember to keep a spare tube in your toolbox if away for a few days though)...

    HP Rear Sets spares

You can get them via Gilles direct, or they are on ebay...

    Data logger

I have a vbox sport that i'm getting rid of? With an external GPS receiver (that you can place on your tail unit and pretend you're Rossi?)

    Rear Sets and auto blipper

I bought some cheap replacement footpegs for the standard rearsets; they were really good and much grippier than standard. Cost very little too. I still found that I needed more clearance, so I bought the HP Gilles rearsets later on...

    Oil change tidy

I have one on the BMW, after using one for years on the gsxr racebike. Bloody brilliant, saves you dropping a hot sump plug in the container you're catching oil in, and the risk of cross threading the thread when re-installing. You need to buy a different cap if you want to lock wire however...

    Brake Bleed Valves

Yes, and because you aren't unscrewing the bleed nipple in the caliper body, air can't get back through the thread...

    Brake Bleed Valves

I have the bmw hp bleed valves (made by stahlbus, but cheaper through bmw). Work well. I like stahlbus stuff; all my bikes have their oil plug valves too.

    Gen 4 Peterborough

Almost certainly the same one. One of the PB jorno's had it on test, and he works as a press officer in BSB also...

    Gen 4 Peterborough

It'll be MCN's bike - PB had it on test too, so it may well be one of their staff...

    Tyre Warmers - Recommendations Please

I?ve gone though a few sets, and now use a pair of Uber warmers. Been using them a year, no problems at all!

    Racing seat glue

I used a bit of upholstery glue I had kicking about, as well as the self adhesive backing...

    Ceramic bearings

Been discussed in depth elsewhere a number of times. General thoughts are that any potential marginal gains are eroded by pad drag.

    Jerez ?

Yep, i've stayed in both of those, and they are very nice. I'm back again in December, think its the Jerez&Spa again this time. The MotoGP boys stay there when testing too, so if its good enough for them... Jerez town is brilliant, lots of places to eat and drink. You will need a car, as the...

    Helmets!? Who has what?

After years of arai?s, I?ve gone for an xlite carbon jobbie this time. It?s wonderful, streets ahead in terms of comfort and lightness...

    Suspension Set Up DDC

I took mine to MCT two weeks ago, then had a trackday on Sunday. Some machining to the pre-load adjusters, new KTech 10nm springs, and decent fluid, together with a set up. Made a massive difference, loads more feel from the front, and I felt adjustments had a more pronounced affect. Just gotta...

    Gen 3 parts

    Snetterton 300 - 15/22/23 April

Comfortably mid-pack when racing with Bemsee on an old GSXR. I'd have no issues if it wasn;t the first trackday of the year! And I crashed last time I was there (2nd June - still not 100% healed)
