Racing seat glue

My race seat foam that came with Pro-Fiber fairings disintegrated after 4 days of use so I'm looking to replace it.

I see a lot of race seat foam on sale on ebay that labeled as self adhesive. Do I want to apply some extra glue when attaching the seat foam ? What kind of glue do people normally use for this ?

If they come self adhesive I expect it is sufficient, but maybe have some 3M VHB 4936 tape ready to use of you lift a corner?

I'd avoid glue as it needs to be removable in the future.

Buy some double sided tape, roll or sheet and apply when necessary. A while ago I bought a metre sheet of foam/seat material which could be sanded (edges etc) trouble is I can't remember where lol. Was ideal though

Second seat, this happens

I literally didnt do anything wrong, apart from seating on this thing.

I did put 3M VHB adhesive on sides, but that didn't help.

All in all, as long as I seat on it, it holds.

on most of my seats ive peeled off the 3m stuff as its not held and used evostick contact adhesive which dose stick.

Tec7. But it is a awful yoke if you have to remove

I used a bit of upholstery glue I had kicking about, as well as the self adhesive backing...
