Will be changing my rear tyre soon and whilst the rear wheel is out want to upgrade the rear sprocket, std is 45 but what?s recommended to go up to staying on std front sprocket

so battery charged and back on the bike, I?ve checked charge rate and normal running I get 14.52 volts, high beam on drops to 14.34 volts, can anymore confirm that?s normal range please as I would expect 13 - 14 volts
If I disconnect the battery for a couple months on my Gen3 s1krr am I likely to see any issues, expect an ecu relearn due to volatile memory loss but is that all I can expect

got the bike out yesterday and it started ok, but when riding found that the cruise control wouldn?t engage. Quckshift works fine so ruled out the contacts on the clutch lever.

So to be clear the black wire I?m holding on my finger comes from under the seat and has a ring terminal on the underseat end.
it connects into the white male plug, this connects into the black male plug
Under the seat there?s a wire with a ring terminal that?s not connected.
i traced it through the left side of the bike to a plug at the front as shown in the picture.
does anybody know what this could be for please
