Do try the suspension on soft. Rain mode or Pro mode with 2 on the front, then 2 for rear compression and 6 for rebound. It's over damped if the roads are rough.

There are a few seat options out there, many find the standard non-M seat more comfortable. But you could try a pair of cycling shorts too. Wunderlich do some seats with touring in mind but they are taller. I used the Aktiv Komfort whilst touring North Yorks / Scotland earlier in the year and...

Not had that myself @Fraggle . Sounds like the helmet wasn't orientated correctly. Your eyes should be closer to the chin bar than the top of the aperture.

I've never not used pinlock - in the UK it seems necessary to me. Although it's probably a waste of time when on the euro trips. The BMW helmets do seem excellent value right now, they are selling off stock. Well worth it if you're in the market.

BMW doesn't differentiate for your market... But whatever, you're desperate for a massive facelift, have a cookie if you're right. Lights and exhaust won't count.
