Hey, welcome back, Interested in your thoughts compared to the old HP4.
Welcome back Malic. I've toyed with changing the RR for a more mileage friendly bike, but I know I'll miss the buzz of a sports bike.

I did the same! I sometimes miss the versatility of the GS, but it certainly doesn’t give you the same feeling when riding it or opening the garage door. Glad I came back to an RR. Enjoy!

I do miss the HP4 but this bike is just something else. Only two gripes, seat is awful and the ride position/height is so aggressive (probably not the right word). Oh but it sure puts a smile on my face. Just need to get the ECU unlocked to really appreciate it.
There are a few seat options out there, many find the standard non-M seat more comfortable. But you could try a pair of cycling shorts too. Wunderlich do some seats with touring in mind but they are taller. I used the Aktiv Komfort whilst touring North Yorks / Scotland earlier in the year and had no issues.

I have the same Wunderlich seat I put on when doing longer trips and have had no issues with comfort on 8hr+ days.
Use the OEM one for track riding and short rides.

Personally, I've not had any seat problems (M, Low) But the state of British roads..... oh boy
Do try the suspension on soft. Rain mode or Pro mode with 2 on the front, then 2 for rear compression and 6 for rebound. It's over damped if the roads are rough.
Tried rain mode. Rough doesn't even cover it. I was worried that the little 300 I borrowed was going to get lost in one of the potholes
