Yeah, got mine (S1K) booked in for next Wednesday for replacement. Barely used the bike since the last service in October

Yep I got the same letter,I'll get mine done,in may when it's in for its service
You cannot change the filter only.

If they do it on service can’t see you saving money they’ll just change oil and fit correct filter and charge
I’m hoping I only pay for the oil

The dearer told me,only the fiter No oil change
They replace the filter and the recall includes "up to 1 litre" of oil to top up any lost.
You might be able to come up with a deal with your dealer - a friend of mine did.

My dealer says they drain the oil then remove the dodgy filter - fit the new filter and the pour you own oil back in. Greedy SOB's.
Also they won't just post you the correct filter so you can change it yourself which would mean a 600km round trip for me. So I will just wait for my service due in June.

My dealer said they changed the oil and filter when they did mine so I guess some are more generous than others… or less honest
