Repair marks on black main frame?

Hi, I have a couple of small but discreet marks on my black main frame where a tool knocked against it. I can't tell if it has gone through the coating or paint but I'd like to know how best to remove it! I've tried some vigorous wet finger rubbing but to no avail :-( Is it a paint finish or...

    Strange insurance clause?

Dear all, I'd value a bit of opinion on this: Having searched around for a cheaper renewal, I eventually settled for a policy which was more competitive than my current provider. I have since found out that because I have stated that my bike is kept in a locked garage, my new policy will not...

    Radiator and oil cooler

I fitted the Evotech ones this week and I must say I'm glad I choose them. They are good quality and look very nice. my only slight concern is that the oil cooler guard effectively increases the width dimensions of the cooler when in place, which means it contacts the inside of the lower engine...

Praise for the D3 Tail Tidy...

Frankly, the design, build and quality of the finish, combined with the price make this a no brainer. Fitting was a complete pleasure, with no need to chop wires or hack anything, it looks fantastic. In my opinion, it looks like the OEM designed it to there in the first place. The icing on the...

    Bike workshop lifts

Is anyone here using a workshop lift of any sort and if so, would you share your thoughts with me? I've been dithering between a Sealey MC450 or an Abba Skylift for months - each seem to have their pros and cons. I like the idea of the Skylift because it keeps the wheels free while the bike is...

    Radiator and oil cooler

I rather like the way the Evotech guards are mounted, using the existing rad and cooler mounting points... I guess overall there's not really a huge lot to choose between them all. They all appear to do the job!

    Radiator and oil cooler

Hello, 2 questions: 1. I've done a little searching around but I'd be interested in gathering a few more opinions about radiator and oil cooler guards... I've looked at the Cox Racing ones as well as the R&G offerings. Which do people here prefer and are there any other decent alternatives...

    Rain Repellent?

Cheers Fatbob! I have a bottle of that in the garage which I used on my car screen. I was wondering if it's safe to use on plastic visors... Their website seems to suggest that it isn't but I gather from your reply that you've been ok with it?

    Rain Repellent?

I have a pretty new Shoei visor but I really struggled with the drizzly rain forming a layer on my visor this morning. What visor cleaning products would people here recommend for water repellent qualities?

    Ignition on - automatic sequence

Hello, can anyone explain what all of the clunking and whiring sounds are as the bike goes through its 'power on ' sequence when the key is turned? Once mine has finished, a medium pitched whining persists which is quite clearly audible before engine start. I guess some of it is related the...
