I paid about 60 pound i think for the dealer to cover my bike in their version of acf50. I use mine to commute so I will be getting this done every year at the service, ask them to do it for you to protect it, for such a small amount its definitely worth it

Thanks mate, i will ask about this protection, anyway, bike never got delivered today, the tracker wasn?t installed in Germany, so, ones on order, probably the salt will all be away before it comes.

So I've earned myself an avatar, having picked up my bike yesterday :glee:

I've done 200 miles, so I'm able to use 9k now, but very much looking forward to the first service and not worrying about revs.

One question about the bike. When I switch on the electrics, it makes lots of noises, as do most bikes (usually the pump priming). But with this bike, the noises never stop. Is that normal?

Picked my sport up on Sunday, waited 14 months for it then, the very next day get told by Boris that I can't ride it lol.
A few weeks doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, I was buzzing after my first 100 miles riding it home, can't wait to get back on it and get it run in.

The official tinted high windscreen and tank pad have gotten me many complements from other RR owners during the 2 days I've been riding about. Pictures don't do them justice, they just look very good on the M Sport in the flesh. The screen especially just looks so "right" compared to the stock one.

Cheers Hertstif... I think it sets it off really nicely as a comparison to the standard one in the first picture

What is the law on rear reflectors? I see so many without, and I noticed you don't have one Mark , I'm thinking of removing mind from the number plate.

The reflector is just above the license plate. The law says you need one. I think it's checked on an MOT. It has a minimum area iirc

Who said you can't use your bike? As long as you're social distancing, if you need to get from A to B and on that day your means of travel choice happens to be a bike over a car, to pick up some essentials like medicine, milk or bread from the Supermarket, then why can't you use your bike?

From memory there is def a reflector on the rear just hidden by the angle of the pic. It?s legal to ha e a rear reflector but a lot don?t bother.... the evotech tail tidy gives u the reflectors but look naff so I will prob just won?t bother

sod carrying a loaf of bread and milk on the way home on it schuey haha

Thank you guys Mark and Schuey for the info about the reflector. Yes, they do look naff and I fitted the reflector that was included with the Evotech kit but, I think it will be removed this afternoon and placed somewhere suitable!! Great those Tyco rucksacks and I noticed down to ?15 this afternoon.

My local dealer (Sycamore Motorrad in Peterborough) is closing for at least a week after today. I've just been to collect my bike off them as they carried out the neutral issue fix for me and it would've been stranded there if I didn't go and collect it. Not sure how this lockdown is gonna affect collections, but it's not looking good.
