Yoke offsets

Does anyone know if the gen1 2 top yoke has a different offset to the 2015?
Cant find measurements online

there was no change from 2012 yoke offset to 2015,but the gen1 to gen2 was changed by -2.5mm.

if your after adjustable headstock,i have a set of adjustable yokes for standard forks

I may be interested. But do you know what the actual offset is on the gen 1?

i dont,but a little internet digging will find it i'm sure.

i have loads of geometry change inserts,swingarm pivot,top shock mounts so if that the way you want to go give me a shout (aswell as the adjustable yokes)

Ever changed to lower shock mount? I read about linear versions being better for drive, I don't know why though.

One of the main changes on the Gen4 apparently.

tbh i'm not good enough to notice the finer adjustments,my bike is a SBK spec bike,but set up as a stocker to make it easier to jump between the 2 classes when it was at the TT this yr.

Im trying to add more trail. My bikes road bike with key ignition so need suitable yokes.
If gen 1 had less offset yokes they might work

So you find the front isn't stable enough and want it to turn slower?

i thought your issue was lack of feel at the front?

seems to me (which was mentioned in a different thread somwehere) your just going to be chasing your tail without getting your suspension set up,for your weight.thats point A,without that your never going to get your bike to handle correctly no matter what you do.

Ive done my research and all guides and information points to trail numbers and there effect on stabilty and feel.
The fact is less trail gives less feedback but make it easier to change direction.
I personally want more feedback and slower change of direction. Along with a proper suspension setup once i can get to a specialist next year. Everyone has a personal preference when it comes to setup. There is no right or wrong.
What i want isnt what you may want but thats life. Everyone is different physically and personality wise.

okidoke you know your bike/self far better than i ever will,but from a pure "sitting on the fence" point of view,if your bike is sprung/set up all wrong (suspension wise) then your not going to be able to get a "feel" no matter what you do,but each to thier own :love_heart:

If your forks are to soft you will feel unstable, have you set up your sag?
