As per title, is it worth changing to a 200 section rear tyre?

Aside from the asthetics, what are the benefits?

I was looking at Dunlop Roadsmart2, but they only go to 190, so if i want 200 its the Qualifier II.

Any advice/ experiences welcome :encouragement:

Cheers
Dave

(edit to add: the Qualifier II is a 200/50 instead of the standard 190/55. aside from a small ride height adjustment, would this make a difference?)

pm'd a link about same question for the S1000 on another forum.

Interesting... thanks for that ross.

Sounds like its not worth the dtc hassle for road use. if i ever convert it to track only i'll do it then!

Cheers

I never got round to reading the thread, just had it in favourites. Just thought I'd post it ya because it might of answered some of the questions you had.

The Pirelli 200 tyre doesn't give any dtc hassle. Its just not worth it unless you are a lot faster than most TD people. Supposed to be slightly more edge grip when at full lean.
