Yep those pmtr slicks are amazing. Wet dry hot cold just send it.

That bike has a r6 master, sv caliper with brembo SC pads. Race cams, high compression, vm26 carb. Fully adjustable suspension, better ECU.

We have 20 odd lads on a normal day. Makes for good fun. Go through sliders faster than petrol ffs

I might consider it BBB, but for now I'll leave the road trim intact and use it regularly on the road (well as much as we're allowed this year).. I'll try and get into the Track side of things, if it works out well I probably will.

Ryte Jamie, you took the words out my mouth, I hopped on it today (don't all shout and bawl about the NHS).. remember I hadn't ridden this thing on the road whatsoever, so after doing all the work I thought it was the right thing to do, everything worked well just a couple of minor adjustments needed.

I did remember how light, nimble and quick they are, 1 and 2 are insane if you crack it open...should have gone 111 on the chain, that extra link helps a lot in the lower gears, however I had completely forgotten how quickly they turn in!.. out the box they must have been scary as hell as they never came with a steering damper hence their nickname..

Must admit when it was time for home I wanted to stay out in it as it was becoming more enjoyable by the second.. big smile on my face as I parked up.

One thing I will need to get is a gear indicator as the dash is *****.. I picked a long straight on the way home, overtook one car tucked in and opened up, I miscounted and thought I was in 6th...(eye roll)

Really pleased I bought it... anyone what to buy a boring HP4 :) (Going Cheap) lol

We?ll get an old skool blast sorted out with the R1

Last thing on my ZX... Bushings, seals etc just arrived there so I can set about rebuilding this bottom arm. Needle Rollers felt a bit rough in places but thorough clean and degreased was a result, nice and smooth. Got Rob Carson to look both arms over so quite happy with that... bonus I will clean and rebuild the unused one using the best of what's left over and punt it on EB, get some dough back in..

Aw cheers Marc [emoji106]... pretty straightforward tbh, time consuming waiting on the bits arriving.... theres a strong market for second hand Gen 1 parts, I've got loads of OE so think I'll give them a clean up and get them listed on EB..

Made a few bob out my old parts...

I sold rear pegs, front indicators, bottom arm rear shock, penske shock, both pegs, gear selector, springs and others made a tidy sum
