Which spark plugs

Hello all,

looking to to see what spark plugs to get for my 2015 s1000rr. Whether just to go for normal NGK ones or the irridium ones?

Personally I'd get the best I could afford.. Performance difference might be negligible between them, but if I went for the lesser ones I'd always be wondering just how good the greater ones were...

The OEM spark plugs are perfectly fine.

Anyone got the code for the OEM's to hand?
Interested in what they cost.
I mean the NGK code not the BMW part no.

NGK Spark Plugs

I believe the OEM spark plugs are NGK LMAR9D-J.

Yes I see LMAR9D-J is the one.

The NGK data sheet shows these Iridium alternatives;
LMAR9AI-8
SILMAR9A9S

I don't know the differences between those Iridium's.
I'm not saying do it, I'm just adding for information purposes.
