Be as well brushing up this post.. changed engine oil which reeked of fuel, guessing that's probably due to the "tight tolerances" you come to expect of cheap Chinese mass produced engines.. changed the pump oil too, which was badly needing done..Both valve clearances were at 15 thou which is bang on, though I did question this as the exhaust runs hotter than the inlet and should be a smidgeon wider.. plug was fine and a nice tan colour so no worries with combustion. Cleaned air filter and sprayed the exhaust shroud with black heat resistant paint.. she's looking and running like a wee sweetie.. Good for another three years of neglect ![emoji15]

Dunno about that the weather's turned to **** up here Marc !... might be taking the van up to get it.. I'll pick it up and get some snaps up. Might stick these pegs and that on over the weekend. Weather's meant to great next weekend you, so I'll get a few runs under my belt get that 600 away and derestricted.

Yea, totally.. Rab Carson stuck a full system on his and it transformed the bike, sounded awesome too, just right, not too loud but very throaty..as far as looks go I really don't know if I can stomach that pile of scrap under the engine, it's untidy, they could have prettied that up to say the least. There's a huge clamp holding the can on too lol.. funny I've never paid that much attention to it till today..when I paid for it haha [emoji1]

?1700.00 it's a lot of bread..decisions decisions !.. how much money do you throw at a new bike !

Agreed...I was looking at them last night on Ebay.. circa 1k ish... one guy wasn't happy on his feedback with one model...he'd been kb'd from three UK circuits (102db) his read 105/6 or whatever with the baffle in...homework needed..

Ti is twice the price !

I'm not interested in Titanium at the money they ask..quite happy with Stainless..be a lot lighter than OE anyhow.. longer can sounds just the ticket..
