Waiting for delivery date, dealer says there is a stop in production.

Hello everyone. Thanks for the add. I am waiting for a delivery date for a 2023 S1000RR in Greece. The order was placed mid February. There seems to be a stop from Motorrad. Anyone knows what the stop of production is for?

Hi, welcome, the stop is on the Billet Levers added with the Billet pack.

No it isn?t for the billet levers since I didn?t order it. It is for a part that is in shortage, as my dealer mentioned. Does anyone have recent info?

Yeah I've not heard of a parts shortage. Though there is some block on non-billet deliveries from speaking to Lind. And it's not limited to the RR...

That?s right. It?ll be to do with the shortage of magnesium.
