HI YA,
Could someone please tell me do you think race fairings for 2013 will fit 2011.the guy at GB plastics seems to think so, says BSB team used them after an off on a 2011 and they fit without modifications . Also when I remove all the road kit what do I do about the fault codes, lights /indicators. Lastly is anyone interested in a pair of thunder grey Watsen CNC LED flush indicators.(the best I think).cost me £100 with tax/ postage. So £40 plus postage. To the moderators I will put this bit in items for sale .

Depending on the fairing type, you might need a bracket kit, also you can buy a kit that plugs into all the lights, side stand, fuel tank etc to stop all the warnings you'd get obscuring your temp reading. I got mine from Alpha. I'm not 100% sure, but I was told that when the fuel light comes on, the bike goes into a low power mode (sounds logical, why have 190bhp on tap when you're looking for a petrol station), so the tank resistor is handy for the track. If you decide you want either, I've got a set of both I'm not using any more.

AFAIK the fairings should fit.

Alpha plus are an expensive way to get rid of the lights warning. Just take it to the dealers and ask them to turn it off, mine did it for free.

Bike does not go low power when the fuel light comes on.

It depends what year the bike is, it's not an option on the early ones.

This is the process:
QUOTE:
They have to use the MOSS PC. Go into ISTA P, the programming part. Go to Vehicle and then go to CKM--car key memory. Scroll to the bottom and check the last box, says something like lamp check feature. There are two boxes in this subgroup and the first is the factory setting. Have them choose the second box which will turn the self check function off. Click on the lower right box at the bottom of the screen, should be a Continue or Accept measures plan. Then exit programming.

And '13 panels will fit straight on.You will only need a fitting kit if the fairings need it(same for any year).
Only thing is,if you use the short rear cowl that uses the standard seat you will need a '12/13 seat.
Also you will need to cut the r/h fairing for the crash bung
