How are you all?
I am thinking of buying the new model S1000. Can anyone try to put me off, please?
I have a Tuono V4 at the mo.
Whats the RR like with all the electrics off? Is there a wheelie thread anywhere??
I live on the N Coast of Scotland... anyone else up here??

Howdy Explorer, you like the bike then? I am sorely tempted. My nearest dealer is a BMW one, Harry Fairburn Inverness. Don't suppose you have any other bikes to compare it with do you?

The S1000RR is not a wheelie machine like the Tuono or other Super Naked's, comparing apples and oranges. Decide what you want from a bike then choose a bike that suits that. The S1000RR is not a hooligan.

To pull a wheelie though, you need to turn off the DTC in Race mode. And as it's a progressive/linear I4 it should be fairly easy to control.
