Just had a nice bombshell dropped on me about the MotoGP in Brno this year .. I'm going to need some luggage for the bike.

I'm after a tailpack for a gen3 - the bigger the better (underpants for the ass I have are not small) and maybe a tankbag as well.

They'll need to be 'good value for money' (I'm originally from Barnsley, so in all honesty, I'd prefer if you paid me to take them off your hands!).

I have a Bags Connection 52L tailbag like this:

http://www.bykebitz.co.uk/bags-connection-cargo-tail-bag.html

Which is brilliant. Took all my (far too much) gear for a week-long (cut short to 3d) trip around Scotland, including a down sleeping bag, micro self-inflating mat, clothes, trainers, spare gloves, etc. I also bought a Bags Connection tent bag which straps on the top and was big enough for my 2-man tent, stove, cooking gear and sundries. Very stable, very easy to load, and seemed waterproof (although I belt-n-braced it with bin bags inside anyway). Had a tankbag too for 'need it right this second' essentials like waterproofs, and actually had FAR too much space, as I packed a load of stuff I didn't need.

I fitted a couple of extra d-ring hooks under the tail section to secure everything and it was fine up to 100 well+ (KMPH cough).

Got one of these for sale if wanted,
?100 plus post.
Or a similar cheaper one for ?50 plus post

I wont need postage - I'm up in that neck of the woods far too regularly these days. 'Darn chivet into wakey'

Whats the details on the cheapy version?

Can't remember the make, it's in the garage. Very possible it will need to see the jet wash. And nikwax tent sealer fluid again. But all zips and pouches OK. Can't remember if it has a rain cover, but I always water sealed all my kit.

Tankbag appears to have fallen through (no replies to emails) so I'm back in the market for a good tankbag - usual tight yorkshire man rules apply ..

I do have a givi ancillary bag that fits a satnav wallet passport etc.
