Hey guys , I'm starting to get a little feel for suspension set ups & playing about but until I can Jack up the back end without stiffening the spring to its max!! I don't think I Can get a good setup so anyway has anyone managed to flip the bracket them selfs on the rear shock as I can't find any how to guides anywhere?? It's on a s1000rr 2014 cheers

I used an abba stand to support the bike. Then just undo and flip. It's a bit fiddly to get back in but whole job only 15 minutes

I think he wants to raise the rear suspension height, not jack the bike up :)

On most bikes you'd use spacers, not the preload.

Just flip the off centre washer at the top of the shock to raise the seat height

Yeah I meant raise the ride height . By flipping the washer round I'll let ya know how I get on 😬lol

All done . A little tricky but nice & easy made a massive difference now just got to drop the forks a notch 😃

The ride height won't change that. If you want more front end stability you need to drop the forks
