Having an epic time at The Ring. The bike is a lot of fun here. Did six laps last September and had another six yesterday. Best time so far is eight mins thirty seven. Back out again tonight for some more fun.

Did 15 laps their over two days two weeks ago, all sub 10 but no sub 9.

With difficulty! Pretty much the whole of the second half of the circuit I'm riding blind as I'm only 50/50 familiar with the corners and don't know the lines very well at all. It's pretty cool though because it means I'm riding pretty fast to get the decent time and there's load of improvement to be made. Here's my mate on his Panigale chasing me on the same lap:

I'm in slick mode set to -6. I don't like using electronics much. I find I'm quicker without them on both the BMW and the Panigale. The BMW in particular has its character sucked out of it. I didn't enjoy the run in period at all as I couldn't fit the slick chip to remove all the anti wheelie. Makes a massive difference having the extra control.
