I have spoken to my local dealership this afternoon to check and the latest software version is 001_119_170.

Thank's again that means I need to look in a different direction to find the gremlin.

Did I read somewhere that if the software is upgraded it looses the map? I'm sure I'm not on that software version

If you mean RS2E type then quite possibly. But then, they've sorted the fueling

Generally speaking, if you?ve had an ECU flash, you can?t then update the firmware at your local dealership, as this would require your to re-flash the ECU.
I guess this is the same principle to jail breaking an iPhone and then not updating to a newer version of iOS.

But as @alex says, if the bike is fuelling well and you?ve not got any issues, there isn?t really a need to update the firmware

your dealer may be wrong Ry, that was the version my bike came with has since been updated,

021_104_020 on mine since update, I got this and another more specific update for this exact thing, start up issues

Most interesting. I will give my dealer another call tomorrow. That said mine hasn?t had any noticeable start up issues but it is noisy.

I never had any start up issues until the first service was done
