Slick chip?

Guys quick question... The dealer tried to tell me today at handover that the chip unleashes more horses. As far as I understand it from reading the manual that's BS, and slick backs off the aids and introduces a more aggressive throttle response etc, but doesn't actually give you more HP? Can anyone set me straight.

no more power
the only mode that doesn't give full power is rain mode 187 I believe

Yeah it's twaddle. All the modes do for power is adjust the throttle, how far and fast it opens. Rain mode only prevents it from opening 100%.

yeah complete BS....i wish these dealers would research the product properly before feeding us with info??! .....my dealer has been full of this type of BS! ....they shouldn't be allowed to sell these amazing bikes unless they do their homework! ....very lazy and annoying!
