They are a good product, not sure I would use one on a super sport. They are great for all weather and high mileage applications. I think it would look pretty poor on a smart back end like that.
No Soof.. as long as you keep the drips to a few a minute. You can turn it off or crank it up. The Scott Oil developed for it is really sticky.. almost stringy like between your fingers and thumb.. (sound familiar anyone ) lol
I've used them before on different bikes and I wouldn't use them again
I found its a fine line between the oil dropping on the chain or not and the back wheel is constantly covered in oil
I never found that at all powders... you do get the odd bit of oil but if its controlled properly and using the Scott Oil that shouldnt happen.. but I wouldnt fit one on my HP4 from an aesthetinc point of view.. i prefer a good clean and plenty Wurth Dry.
What's the best chain lube do you guys recommend its been Years from me being on a bike, i get home offshore Tuesday and get my bike Friday am excited lol
Just another vote for Wurth dry lube, brilliant stuff. If you have a Wurth trade shop anywhere near you you can get the stuff at trade prices through the forum (cash only) account which is available to premier members .
Have you tried Shirlaws just off Union St. I know it's a bit to travel but there is a good shop just next to Ducati in Glasgow too. With loads of choice. If it's Clarks you are buying the bike from they will be able to get you a matching BMW suit and race helmet, new gear launch next Saturday. I'll be up at Dundee for that.
Cheers jimmy, i am buying it from Sunderland they are dropping it off to me. I'm still offshore just now i will pop in past Shirlaws I haven't been in there in years a bought a couple of gsxr600 years back it always used to cost more dollars in there lol
