Running rough

Hey all. So after all the starter clutch and stater / rectifier issues she is now running but at start sounds like a cross plane R1. She does start but is almost reluctant to get going unless given extra revs. Once warm is barely noticeable and also hardly tell over 5k rpm. Any ideas?

Does it smell of unburnt fuel whilst it's struggling to start? That would indicate it's spark.
Have you tried any fuel system cleaner?
Can you get an IR (Temp) gun on the down pipes and see if one is colder than the others?

Thanks Alex. Spoke to my dealer and they suggested the same but more rudimental on header to spray water and see if one did not evaporate. Going to get some STP Ultra 5 in 1 as well.

So I may I have killed her. After running rough just stopped running. Turning over but not starting. Has been in to the dealer who are looking into things but is pointing towards no compression in cylinder 3 which effectively would be terminal

Worth a bore scope...see whats wrong.

So has been at the dealer a while and they are stumped. Has spark, compression and fuel but just won’t run. Occasionally started but would not stay running. They have also said cannot just get 2nd hand ecu as is linked to a bike so won’t work

Surely BMW have the means to test an ECU, even if it means sending it away?
