Just Booked on. First time there so anything to watch out for?

Rockingham

I did a trackday at Rockingham last season on the National Circuit. I had not visited Rockingham before as I've always been a bit sceptical about going there given its four-wheeled focus and that it was dropped from the BSB calendar several years ago. That said I was pleasantly surprised and I would definitely recommend a trackday on the National Circuit if you have not been there before.

The shorter National Circuit is only 1.7 miles long, but the track has some impressively fast corners and several elevation changes. For me the best part of the circuit is the rapid right/left/right section prior to Turn 4 which is immensely enjoyable given the speed you can carry through it. However the track surface is inconsistent, so be prepared to make some minor adjustments to suspension set up as it is extremely bumpy in places. Of note there are some particularly nasty bumps on the apex of Turn 7.

There is always plenty of space in pit lane but make sure you take an extension cable with you if plan on using tyre warmers as the garages are open plan. Other than that the circuit noise limit is 104 dB for this season.

i might book this one too. imo its a great little track, even the international. some dont like the transition from infield to oval but you get used to it. any track is still better than no track. :)

If you do book on then let me know and we can try and meet up if you like.

if your booked on with no limits must be prepared for a very busy track, I think they was 40 in my group last time.

It's a fun track but a bit small, felt small on my 600.

Loved the track but not been there in at least 10 years, did a couple of the California Superbike School modules when they were run from there too.

Massive garage setup as you'd expect with it being a NASCAR type track so no shortage of space and power outlets :tranquillity:

Lets hope for no rain or i have will have to pick up some wets!

So better late than never a quick report on the day.

Booked into novice as I've not been to the track before and didn't want to hold people up.
Started to rain just as I set out for the signing laps, a little slippery and grease. By the time it was time to go out again the track dry and was great for the rest of the day. Thanks to Rys for the little track guild he did, helped out a lot.

First time using my GoPro on this set up https://youtu.be/rsjVybiUDFg .

Looking forward to going back and having some fun now I know where I am going.
