Rekeying original lock

Does anybody know the trick to get the lock tumblers out of an oem seat lock?

On the oem lock the tumblers seem held in place in a way that's different to the replacement cylinder kit where they aren't held.

Haha. You got a new style lock like mine.. if thats the case you need to buy a replacement. 20 quid from dealer.

Oh dear. Did you try anything - e.g. Stick in a vice & pull hard on tumblers with pliers?

Hi @stuartb Re-keying new style can be done. You need to pop off the end cap & remove a locking pin. Just did it in about 10 min.

Hi mate, to be truthful I never really tried that, I just ordered a new one...cool if you got it then..from memory mine was crimped over at 3 places..didn't fancy forcing or wrecking it..just watched that, looked way easier than my set up..20 quid for a new one was an easy option for me,,
