Racing acropovic exhaust

I just bought an full titanium exhaust system for 15 s1000rr
it does not have any valves?
It's fine but was concerned I case it was a race one rather than a road can
can someone tell me the difference?

Didn't think any of the full systems had valves
my understanding was the short cans are the race ones , could be wrong mind

Akrapović Full Exhaust Systems

There are two full exhaust systems available through BMW for the 2015 S1000RR. The first is the Akrapović HP Race Power Kit which is a full titanium race system. The other is the Akrapović HP Titanium Exhaust System which retains the exhaust servo valves for road homologation. The other non-HP branded Akrapović full systems, which you can purchase directly from companies like Calsport, are race versions. As for versions running different exhaust lengths, such as those seen in BSB and WSBK, these are specifically developed for teams running Superbike specification engines and are generally only available directly through Akrapović.

it sounds great
goes great too,the only thing is it's a bit lumpy at tick over ,does this mean I need a power commander to map it out?

Am I correct in thinking that both full Akro systems have no catalytic converters. I am considering buying the full titanium system but am concerned that if emissions law is applied to bikes I will be stuck with a 2k system that can only be used on track.

The road one has a small one in it and the exhaust valve

The 2015 headers are very good on their own and there is little to be gained by fitting a full system.If you wish to keep the cat then just fit an end can and link pipe.
