RRP ?500. Got it for ?250 from racefit. Took the bike to them so they can make a jig off the akra headers. He did it for half price.

That was a bit of drive, the discount must've just about covered your fuel

Looking great Davy, you'll not need to phone to say your coming round, I'll hear you when you start up at your house. lol

Just spoke to Jon at Racefit, top bloke , did me a great deal, all ordered should be next week, the one thing that all ways bothering me was the size of the akra exhaust on the HP4.
Cant wait, cheers for the original post mate

youll love it. The up shifts and over drive sound great.

mate, did you have anything else done , re- map , Ecu etc
Or did it run fine , just bolted on
thanks

You won't need a remap for a decat or end can, Only for full system really. The ECU will sort it's self out marginally over the course of a few miles.

Dyno Power Run

The only way to know whether your bike will need to be mapped after making modifications to the exhaust is if you take the bike to your local Dyno Centre and conduct a baseline power run. This will identify if there are any issues with the A-F ratio and whether you need to fit a Power Commander, or similar fuel management system, and have the bike mapped. To simply state that it isn't required unless you fit a full system is not strictly true.

+1 it is always worth getting your bike checked on a dyno when making a substantial exhaust change, just to be safe.

My experience with the full Akra Evo system is that it did not "require" a custom map with the stock O2 sensor installed, though I did install a PCV down the line and had the bike re-mapped
