To paraphrase ?Withnail and I?, I?ve come on holiday to Normandy by accident. Staying tonight at Saumur and gonna wander my way to Dieppe for a Friday night crossing.
I?ll post how I ended up here and not the Pyrenees in a couple of days. In the meantime, any tips on good routes would be most appreciated. Cheers, Hugh

Cool. I stayed in samur last summer. We had supper in a french place in a little square just behind the river on the south side. Beautiful. I’ve got some pics somewhere of the balloon festival that was taking place.

I would head towards the coastline and follow it up and round if you have a couple of days, the weather will be the gamble but I think its looking ok.
