I'm toying with these or regular Super Corsas for the summer months... Seems the Rosso 3s might be a great compromise. I'll update when they go on next week. Pirelli Angel GT's have been ace though... really durable but bit slow turning on the pace

Can you tell i do a lot of motorways?! on the wear bars... :hurt:

I haven't but why go with Supercorsas? Only worth it if you're planning on a few track days and sounds like you'll wear them out in a straight line in no time. You've probably noticed a lot of people going for M7RR's, I have them fitted to my bike and have so far been very impressed their with speed of turn in and ride comfort v's my previous S20's

Only had them on a few weeks so I can't comment, I'm sure others will be along soon to answer that but 4000 miles from a rear seems to be typical

how many miles are you getting from the M7s?

Depends how you ride mate. I'm getting about 4K miles from my sets, just about to put on my third set. The current ones have worn really nicely with about 1mm left across all the tread and the profile staying as it was when they were new. I deliberately don't go heavy handed on the throttle in straight lines on public roads and rarely do dual carriageway / motorway riding so the centre doesn't get overly abused (I like playing in the corners, any tool can go fast in a straight line).

I've normally used rosso corsas on my last few bikes and am pleased with them on trackdays and road use, back will do around 3000, i.e it will be illegal down to the wire by 4000 and you can see it's going at 2000. fronts normally go twice that. supercorsa (or k1/2) probably a 1000 less.
I'm thinking of trying a rosso 3 on the back next (touring in Europe later in the year) to see if it's a bit better.
would also be interested to see if anyone's used them yet (will leave corsa on the front)

It's a pair each time with the supercorsas for me.
Never been anywhere near a motorway, luckily we have none :biggrin-new:

Rosso Diablo on the blade but only supercorsas on the RR, I wouldn't change them for anything else unless I was travelling big distances.
I know they stick to the road like glue on the bends, I'd rather that than wonder why I was sliding on my arse after using a different set thinking "I'm glad I saved some money on the tyres" lol

What are the supercorsas like on a typical Scottish day,ie not very warm and probably wet at some point? Am thinking about ditching them from new to have m7rr put on as these were best tyres for all conditions on my blade.

I have the same question rross , on my pani he super Corsa mate the bike unrideable in spring or Autumn so really as a northerner who only rides Scottish boarders that's our summer . I had no braking sliding and spinning up every were ! Cost Aldo comes into factor for me as I'm already onto my 2nd front and 3rd rear since April I would like to give the Corsa another chance but 1000-1500 I've been told max out of them . So the m7 is my choice great tyre for roads I ride and not worth the gamble for the 3 hot days we may get . One of best combo I ran was Pirelli road 3 rear with 2 ct front they never budged , m7 def squirms around when really hot .

They aren't good in the wet but unless I'm caught out the bike only goes out when it's dry. My bikes a toy for dry days and not a commuter. It's all about fun factor for me and the corners is where I have my fun.
Theres plenty of cold days where I've gone out and I've never had any problems with the tyres gripping in single figures either as they warm up pretty quickly.

My bikes a bit of a toy too but living on east coast I enjoy full day trips across to the west and weather can be quite changeable. I also have a couple weekend trips every year and been caught in some pretty shocking weather in past. Would love to try a really sporty tyre but don't want to be worrying about binning a brand new bike in torrential rain.

Plus 1 on this Loupe

Out of interest have you tried FWR for Tyres as you're in S. London? I was thinking of going to them next time.
