Hey guys on route to pick up new bike now !
The dealer has told me it is top of the range meaning has all packages apart from forged wheels. How can I prove this when I'm there, what should I look for to make sure. Thanks

If it's the S1000RR Sport it will have Cruise Control, Heated Grips, Up and Down Shifter etc etc.

Enjoy the new bike!

Which year?

If its a late 16/17 then;

If it has ABS Pro it will say on the dash when you put the key in

Enjoy the new bike Ben, I'm sure it will have all the bells and whistles, there aren't many options left to add if you have the performance and riding pro pack which you will have.

Thanks guys, it's a 2015 model and I've been told it is the sport version with the performance package, so if it has the blipped and heated grips it should be ok? Thanks

Picked it up guys and love it. One thing I did notice is that it doesn't have a slick or user mode, and the rev light comes on at 8k rpm...guessing it just. Refs the red chip? Thanks

The dealer should supply you with the slick plug for free, it might be with your documentation. The rev light can be changed to your personal preference via the settings menu.

If slick plug not installed it should be in with the manual just pop in in yourself, white gear change light you can set to whatever revs you want

Does it rev passed 9k? If not its not had the first service!
Rev light is configurable in menu

Also managed to get pulled over haha, Police were very nice just told me to slow down. Words cannot express how much I love this thing is it absolutely crazy, Next step up from my 2010 I had.

The mileage is now 8500 and is a 2015.

Enjoy your new bike Ben, just don't lose your licence in the process!

Congratulations on your new bike, am very glad to hear you're enjoying it immensely!

Definitely got to keep an eye out for coppers, I've practically got a nervous twitch looking over my shoulder all the time!

This is why I find the track such a good thing - on the road it's so stressful looking for cameras, coppers, rule changes every 50m so you don't know whether you're coming or going.

The track is just you and the bike.

Awesome! Love the police bit, at least they were sympathetic, a good omen :).

You should get up norf, there's little if any of that police stuff going on up here with miles and miles of quiet, stunning twisty tarmac and amazing scenery.

Congratulations Ben. Im sure its amazing. Just remember to take it slow before going too crazy considering you are not used it. What colour did you get ? I hope its not the full black version. They are nice but whenever I see them it just reminds me of a Batman wannabe hehe xD. Anyway catch you on the otherside buddy.
