Checking in, hoping to gain some info/wisdom from you guys and I will try to contribute where I can.

I ride a 2012 S1000RR that I've been slowly modifying to my taste.

Not the most recent but here's a photo:

I've since installed HP case covers and Watsen's FM signals. I have a full HP Ti Akra exhaust on the way along with a PCV, HP4 standard belly pan extension and COX rad/oil cooler guards.

From Canada with love,
Mina

Welcome along,
Canada is a pretty big place - which part are you from?

Do the Canadian bikes have to run the fork reflectors just like the US bikes?

Thanks Alex! I'm from Toronto Canada. The reflectors are factory equipped but they will be removed eventually, never bothered me enough to remove them yet. Thanks for the reminder!

Ha! I wasn't saying do it - I just know that as USA regulation - didn't know if it was also a Canadian one!

I'm guessing now isn't the time of year to be out riding in Toronto?

Hi Mina, welcome to the forum.

Am I right that motorcycles are not allowed on the roads over winter in your part of the world?

Thanks!

No that's not true, we've had a very mild winter thus far and people were out riding on Christmas eve/day. As long as the roads are clear and it's not snowy/icy the hardcore nuts will be out riding.
